At the crossroads between adolescence and adulthood, she discovers her sexuality and identity.Seventeen-year-old Fatima (Nadia Melliti) leaves the suburbs to study in the city. There, she enters a world where she can be queer, but also finds herself uncertain about how to relate to her faith. Inner turmoil and emotional distance shape her experience. Then she meets nurse Ji-Na (Park Ji-min) and falls in love for the first time.
At the Cannes Film Festival, lead actress Nadia Melliti won the Best Actress Award, and the film received the Queer Palm. At the Roze Filmdagen, La Petite Dernière was awarded the Jury Award for Best Feature.
