Things are not looking good for fifty-somethings Carlobianchi and Doriano: nearly broke, and since the 2008 financial crisis, the con men have been unable to pull off a lucrative scam. Their last hope is the return of their old friend Genio, who hid the proceeds from a job somewhere before fleeing to Argentina.
During an alcohol-fueled ramble through the Venetian countryside, they cross paths with Giulio, a shy student whom they promptly take under their wing. With their unsolicited words of wisdom, they offer him a fresh perspective on love and life.
